National Account Manager - FMCG

They are currently seeking a proven National Account Manager to join their superior sales management team.

The Role
Reporting directly to the National Sales Director you will be responsible for managing the sales performance of a variety of products across multiple categories within one of the countries most significant grocers. You will have total accountability for the negotiation of trading terms, development and implementation of effective promotional programs and any over and above in-store activity.

You will be expected to spend significant time in the field with the broader sales team whilst maintaining exceptional relationships with all account contacts. You will also be required to work closely with the category management and marketing teams within the organisation.

Selection Criteria
With a proven track record of success managing major grocery and or independent accounts for an FMCG manufacturer, you are well connected with a solid understanding of major account sales processes and protocols. Your passion for building sustainable growth across a portfolio with a large number of SKU's will be highly regarded. A strong team player, your excellent communication and presentation skills will ensure your success. Degree qualification or equivalent coupled with a highly analytical approach is highly desired.
