This proudly Australian business produce some of Australia's best loved wine brands. With distribution throughout the United States and Europe they marry being a family owned business with being a major global player in this category. They are known as an organisation who value their people and as a result their staff display a pride and passion for their employer. As part of their ongoing success they are in need of an experienced account manager with experience selling both wine and spirits through the independent channel. Familiarity with both on and off premise would be an advantage.

The Role
Reporting to the State Sales Manager you will have responsibility for driving the impressive sales performance of the independent channel. With full financial responsibility for trade spend you will be expected to ensure continued sales growth, improvements in market share and an effective promotional program. With an understanding of the route to market you will cover off new product launches, media campaigns and promotional compliance with all distributors, buying groups and retailers. Working with the market activation team you will guarantee excellence in execution across all the independent liquor accounts in Victoria and Tasmania. This role will give you the opportunity to be creative in your approach and put your own personal stamp on any worthwhile activity that will grow the business and its performance in this channel.

The Package

  • Base Salary commencing at $90K plus super

Your Experience
To be successful in your application for this role you must have significant exposure to the off premise alcohol channel in either the wine or spirits category, both would be ideal. Your proven track record in sales, strong network of industry contacts and passion for selling wine and spirits are essential in the success of your application. You will be immaculately presented and looking for a role in which you can develop into senior account and/or people management. Your personal style should emulate this company's dynamic culture where the team display both pride in what they do and extremely high energy levels.
