My client is a leader in the field of automation, drives and conveyor technology to name a just a few of their business streams.

Their latest product is hitting the Australian market and the global HQ are overseeing the recruitment of the National Business Development Manager to help launch it.

The primary focus will be to sell the product into food and beverage manufactures and also identify angles within baggage handling systems in airports. A network and background working and selling within these industries will be favourable considered.

The Role

• Grow and develop business within the Food / Beverage Manufacturers and Airport Logistics
• Plan and execute business strategies to generate revenues from new clients
• Maintain existing client relationships and identify opportunities to sell them the latest products
• Attend Various trade shows and events to promote yourself and the brand
• Winning / Managing major projects with some of Australia's biggest players in the market

The Person

To be considered for this opportunity you will demonstrate a technical aptitude combined with a strong new business sales background. To be successful you should have;

• Knowledge in conveyors / motors / drives, preferably from and engineering background
• Extensive networks with food and beverage manufactures or airport baggage handling logistics
• Ability to work on a national level, particularly with travel
• Focused work ethic who can self discipline whilst working autonomously
• Strong communication skills and have an ability to build rapport with all clientele
