Position
A position of distribution account manager has now become available in the Sydney office. The role primarily involves taking over the client portfolios of a number of NSW wholesale distributors, where your focus will be on maintaining each account and really maximising on opportunities for an increase in business. You will be influential in the ongoing direction and growth of your client portfolio and you will assume a trusted marketing advisory position with each client to help them better represent your product range to their end user markets. The position is very relationship management orientated and therefore you are expected to take a genuine interest and passion in your clients business so as to strengthen the account, this may involve attending corporate functions, training seminars, or any other interaction to help maintain and increase the growth of your client portfolio. As a senior member of the NSW sales team you will enjoy complete autonomy in the position and you will be remunerated through a generous remuneration package including salary + car + uncapped commissions; in total your yearly earnings should surpass $130k.
Candidate
As the role is focused on working specifically with the wholesale distributor sectors, it would be an ideal requirement for all candidates to have a prior sales background within the electrical industry dealing with these markets. Technical knowledge and expertise would be an advantage, however trade, or tertiary qualifications are not essential. Most importantly, it is essential to have a real level of drive and ambition, as well as a passion for relationship management and sales success. All candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful relationship management, where you have achieved results managing the distribution and wholesale sales process. The position will be reserved for a dynamic professional looking to take on a role with real substance and be a part of a global industry leader.
