Our client is an Australian success story. They are on the look out for a Marketing Communications Manager to join their small and dynamic team. You would be reporting to the Marketing Director and would be a key cog in the marketing machine.

This is a management position so you will need to have a strong background in marketing communications. You would be working in a dynamic market and for this reason we are looking for individuals that think outside the square and have a strong history working closely with both creative and media agencies. This will be a key part of your role, and you will need to be comfortable delivering a brief, working with scripts, concepts and making sure that the output is reflective of the brief.

With small team reporting to you, and will need to have a successful history in people management. You will have a marketing coordinator and a social media specialist that rely on you for strong mentoring and leadership. As there is only a marketing team of six, everyone needs to chip in and get the job done. We do not want anyone with a “not my job” mentality. There is a strong team dynamic and this is to be encouraged and fostered by someone that relishes the opportunity to take on cross functional involvement and do what needs to be done.

An understanding and experience in market research and consumer insight will be looked upon very favourably as this is a mass market industry and this is an integral part of their strategy. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must as this role will require you to work closely with a broad range of people. Tertiary qualifications in a marketing discipline, plus skills and experience in implementing marketing and communication strategies will be required for this role and strong experience in similar role within a retail or FMCG environment would be looked upon favourably.
