A leading multi-national engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a new Safety Manager for its South Pacific Business. The person appointed to this position will be responsible for taking the lead in the development and implementation of safety projects throughout the South Pacific Region.

You will have the opportunity to use your influencing, communication and change management skills. You will have worked in a senior OH&S role with a proven track record of implementing a variety of safety initiatives. You will be able to understand and empathise with the safety concerns of a wide cross section of employees.

Success in this role will be measured by your ability to:

• Engage, coach and guide the managers and employees
• Act as the functional lead for safety internally and externally
• Provide accurate and timely reports and analysis on safety related matters
• Lead the investigation of serious incidents
