Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for an experienced Communications Systems Integration Engineer who is looking for a challenging position on a large Defence project.

This position will see the successful applicant reporting to the Program Manager and will be providing engineering and technical support for Integrated Communications Systems; including assisting with design activities, developing integration and test procedures, performing system fault finding and rectification and assisting with taking each system through acceptance and into the support phase.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and technical support for design and integration tasks.
• Assisting in the development of specifications, requirements, design and test procedures for upgraded systems.
• Evaluate technical data and develop technical procedures and processes.
• Hands-on systems integration engineering.
• Troubleshooting problems upon installation.
• Assisting proposals teams in the acquisition of new contracts.
• Develop modifications and provide test and evaluation support.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Communications.
• Knowledge of the operation and technical specifications of Military Communications equipment and systems.
• Experience with Systems integration.
• Experience in both hardware and software support environments.
