Concentrating on this major development, our client is responsible for the successful delivery of mineral processing, materials handling and supporting infrastructure for this iron ore development. With vast experience and expertise in the resource and oil & gas industries, our client provides comprehensive services across Engineering and Project Management.

Due to continued growth we are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Quality Coordinator to work on site alongside the Quality Superintendent and in Perth with the Project Quality Manager.


Responsibilities

Currently requiring both a Perth based and site based presence the responsibilities will vary slightly.

Reporting to the Quality Superintendent on site, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and controlling project documents and drawings.
• Providing guidance to managers and supervisors on all QA / QC matters.
• Implementing QA procedures and requirements.
• Ensuring Quality requirements are met.
• Liaising with project related personnel to obtain required information.

Reporting to the Quality Manager in Perth, you will be responsible for:

• Reviewing ITP's and analysing results.
• Managing and controlling project documents and drawings.
• Managing NDT and the flow of fabricated steel
• Ensuring Quality requirements are met.
• Liaising with project related personnel to obtain required information.
• Practical welding experience is essential.

• Solid background in Mining, specifically iron ore.
• Experience in quality and auditing practices.
• Relevant qualifications and certificates in welding essential.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
