You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with expertise in secondary protection relay applications and have at least five years experience within this sector. You enjoy using your power knowledge and technical expertise to assist in ensuring the optimum level of client satisfaction. This is a crucial role and you will need to be a competent Engineer who is highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously. You will be highly valued for your knowledge, design and troubleshooting skills, commercial acumen and problem solving ability.

Reporting to the Senior Applications Engineer you will be responsible for assisting heavy industrial and utility clients with technical specifications and system design predominately on secondary protection systems. This will require knowledge of protection control for transformers, distribution, substations generators and motors. You will also need exceptional communication skills as you will be required to train clients in the use of protection equipment.

A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in power protection is essential and RPEQ status would be advantageous as well. It is vital that you have extensive protection system experience with the ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation. Interested?
