Our client is a bulk water infrastructure firm which plays a large role in managing Queensland’s strategic water supply and infrastructure. Corus People Solutions has been engaged to represent a professional and experienced Service Manager to be based in the Toowoomba office, however some travel may be required.
 
 
This is a great opportunity for a Manager that has previous experience in assets management or exposure to the bulk water service industry including the operation, maintenance of dams, weirs and other water infrastructure.
 
 
The role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Managing 10 direct reports  
  
• Asset Management for multiple sites  
  
• Project Management of refurbishment work  
  
• Managing Project Budgets  
  
• Customer and Stakeholder Management  
  
• Preparation of Management and Finical Reports  
  

 
 
The Ideal candidates will possess:

• Knowledge of the bulk water industry  
  
• A back ground in engineering, trade or asset management  
  
• Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a management role  
  
• Proven record of the water service delivery requirements  
  
• Knowledge of the principles of water flow and flow measurement  
  
• Posess a high level of technical skills including electrical, mechanical or civil maintenance  
  
• 3-4 years Project Management experience  
  
• Strong understanding of quality, WHS&E management and risk management principles  
  
• Degree qualifications in engineering, maintenance or technical fields will be highly regarded however not essential.
