Our client is a leading provider of mineral processing solutions. They specialise in design, construction and operation of mineral processing and preparation plants across Australia with a focus on Iron Ore and Coal.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an Operations Manager to work in their Perth office. Reporting into the General Manager of Operations the role will be focussed around the Iron Ore markets and our client’s development in this arena.

The main purpose of the role will be to provide innovation and cost effective operations management through continued focus around client needs. The successful candidate will undertake business activities that will continually grow and expand the WA operational business.

You will come from a background in either Operational Management or Maintenance Management of Mill or Iron Ore Beneficiation Plant. You would have had previous experience in screening and crushing in Iron Ore. You will be support with the Business Development Manager in expanding the business.

The Operations Manager will have prior experience in the Western Australian Market and be able to draw on contacts throughout their experience to drive the business forward. By adopting a cooperative approach with each process plant management team you will drive the safety, profitability, production targets and maintenance for the process plants under their responsibility.

You will have a degree in Engineering and also experience in Iron Ore in WA.
