Engineering Manager

You will be responsible for multiple sites and delivering measurable results within the production and supply chain business units. The role of the Engineering manager is to provide improved future capability for the SA Sites through sound Engineering & Project management. A strong background in Continuous Improvement implementation and management is essential as is a leadership and management style that is collaborative and energetic.

Your accountabilities are including but are not limited to:

? Manage multiple sites

? Manage the Capital Budget and all works associated with it.

? Lead New Product Development as needed.

? Develop business case and capital proposals from a basic concept or business need.

? Manage multiple projects, tasks and priorities

? Technical consultation to the SA Sites

? Strong cost and time management process and disciplines

? Develop and deliver site development plants

? Investigate and share new technologies and best practise

? Identify continuous improvement opportunities

? Set and maintain engineering and facilities standards and protocols

? Provide Technical training/education to Engineering Team members

? Promote & sustain an effective continuous improvement framework

? Understand plant services processes and systems

? Ensure a safe working environment through implementation of audit, injury management & training initiatives & maintain & enhance, where practicable, safety standards

? Procurement, Installation & commissioning of plant services equipment, production equipment, production lines & building infrastructure

You will have the following skill set to accompany your highly astute qualifications:

? Financial & Analytical skills

? Project management, Coordination, control and planning

? Team working

? Relevant trade certificates and Associate Diploma and/or Degree are a must.

? Time management and Effective communication

? Computer skills in Word, Excel and Lotus notes

? Manufacturing systems knowledge

? Customer focus

To be successful with your application you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success within a production environment, corrective Action Implementation and Project Management. This position requires you to have a strong ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business to maintain the companies future success.
