As a global leader in the Transport industry, our client has recently a number of major Rail projects and as a result require a team of contract design drafters to focus on their new Rollingstock proejcts based in Melbourne.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be involved in developing design solutions from concept through to delivering drawings and model changes to production parts for a new build of passenger trains.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• At least 3 years experience in a design drafting role using CATIA, preferably in the Rail industry however other relevant heavy engineering industry experience will be considered.
• Diploma in Engineering Design / Drafting or equivalent experience.
• Solid Mechanical Engineering background.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication
