Key Responsibilities:
The following responsibilities required are to an Intermediate Level:
Prepare Armatures under direction, for clay or alternative mediums for Design Concepts.
Create complete Interior Environmental Clay surface models to Design direction.
Creating full size Exterior Clay surface models to Design direction.
Concept Clay Models created to make master scan using Photogrammetry equipment.
Provide accurate Packaging, Feasibility, Investigative interior Foam and Clay models to aid development of Voice of Design.
Provide appropriate electronic data using Co-ordinate measuring machine or Tarus scanning equipment to fully support the development of 3D models
Maintain and operate Tarus Mill in accurately setting up Clay Models for Milling Process.
To be successful for this position, you will have:
Must have an intermediate-advance level of experience in all facets of the Design Process, including:
Creative concept and feasibility surface development through solid modelling in clay and alternative mediums.
3D Modelling (Clay, Fibreglass, and Electronic)
Must have full understanding of the Tarus Mill operation including scanning.
Certificate of Pattern Making or automotive related indentured Certificate
Advanced Certificate in Design within the Automotive Industry experience
Complete comprehension of Design and Engineering process.
Ability to read technical drawings and electronic data.
