Scheduler - South East Perth

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced scheduler/project coordinator to work within a busy steel/construction company, based in Perth.
Key Skills Required:
- Project Management
- Ability to apply, advise & influence customers on the the use & application of reinforcing products for building & construction solutions.
- Awareness of Project & Construction system techniques
- Manage (including lump sums) Projects & produce, where required, estimates for a number of tenders.
- Provide accurate and timely take off of quantities of reinforcing bar, mesh and associated accessories, and provide timely pricing to customers as per delegation level.
- Develop and program processing schedules through internal systems for the timely production and delivery of reinforcing to customer sites, ensuring Standards, Policies and Procedures are followed in accordance with Company Guidelines.
- Ability to fully utilise internal Estimating & Scheduling systems.
- Manage administration of contracts
- Despatch planning, as required
- Establish and build internal and external relationships through effective communication strategies
- Manage customer enquiries and expectations through both formal and informal communication channels.
- Liaise and influence design engineers and key customers on technical aspects and interpretation of engineering plans/specifications.
- Negotiate, investigate, influence and develop new business accounts through solicited leads and market networking and build upon existing relationships.
- As directed, provide key customers with on-site scheduling with minimal direction.
