This is NOT just a process-driven account management role. It's strongly about managing relationships with your clients/stakeholders. It's about educating them with what's possible, what's not, and how the organisation can give REAL value and solutions to their needs.
It's about being people driven, understanding they are individuals and communicating with them in a way THEY understand.
It's all about being a brand ambassador - helping your stakeholders to understand and value why brand values are so incredibly important and how it will HELP them rather than frustrate them when they want do deviate from brand.... as they all do from time to time!
If what gives you a buzz is people - if you are dedicated to giving your clients the very best of what they want, when they want it with the absolute BEST client service they have EVER experienced.... this is your job!!
Now, down to the technical things...
You will need a design/print background, solid knowledge of the CS programs, strong project management skills, full understanding of the design process from concept to delivery, strong experience with obtaining print quotes and managing supplier relations, experience with web/online projects, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple jobs at various stages of production and be commercially aware (time and budget).
Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in account management in a design studio (agency or inhouse).
